Question i7-8700k Processor Update?

So my computer has been BSODing a lot lately, and while I get different errors, they all seem to have the common problem of a device driver not being updated. However, even after checking each one manually, I found nothing... until I checked my processor tab.

I'd been getting intelppm.sys errors and since I'm a complete computer nub, I didn't understand what that was, but after looking at this, I realize now that the error had come from these. Is there a way to fix this? It crashes my computer every time I try to play a game and I have no idea what to do.

If you have not yet done so, install the drivers that came on a cd with your motherboard.

I already have, unfortunately. Did it first thing after I finished building the PC.

Go to the motherboard web site and download and update the motherboard BIOS. Instructions will be on the web site.

Also, never use the drivers that come on a CD or DVD, at the same motherboard web site you will find the latest software, download them from there and install them.
