Hello Everyone!
It's been 3 long years since I've been here. I was just getting comfortable at Tom's and started coming here on a daily basis when I was unexpectedly diagnosed with Stage III Small Cell Lung Cancer. My tumor was inoperable, so I went through 30 radiation treatments & 6 months of chemotherapy. I am happy to say that I am now in remission and slowly but surely working on getting back to normal. Or as they say, "new normal".
I now need a little help from this wonderful and very helpful community. I've had some problems since my treatments...my brain doesn't quite work the way it did before my illness. As a matter of fact, I was absolutely TERRIFIED of attempting to touch my computer. For a while, I had trouble with something as simple as a bluetooth driver. But I'm a lot more comfortable now and I'm starting to remember how to do things again. But I still need help. This is where you guys come in...
I already purchased the first computer but haven't taken it out of the box yet. I wanted to see if there was a better deal on CYBER MONDAY. I'm now thinking maybe there is. Can I get some opinions on which of these 2 systems are the better deal? I am a DEDICATED gamer and also mod my games when I can.
I sent an email to the seller of the 1st system (which I already purchased) asking what type of "NVIDIA GeForce GTX w/4GB dedicated & up to 10GB total video RAM", it has, but they won't respond. So, I don't know what kind of card is inside. The RTX on the 2nd system has me breathing heavy. But I also see that the 2nd system doesn't have a CD/DVD drive and I definitely need one. How the heck or WHERE the heck would I put a DVD drive on a case like that? HELP!
I need to make a decision today. I don't know how long they'll have these prices or how many systems they have available. So, it's game on!
Here they are:
