[SOLVED] i7 8700k vs i7 9700k on ddr4 3200mhz

i have ddr4 32gb (2x16) 3200Mhz
evga geforce gtx 1080ti ftw3 hybrid
and i want to buy CPU, i want to know does it compatible to i7 9700k or i7 8700k. Which is better if both are compatible and which motherboard do you suggest. please help me i am building my first pc

and read that intel i7 CPU cant read 3200Mhz ddr4 and it can only read 2666Mhz, what do you know abou it, is it true?

Yes, the parts you have are compatible with the CPU you are looking to get, I guess you want to do some OC to the CPU so I recommend a Z370/Z390 mobo.

No i want for video graphics 3D s max and maya. No i dont want to do OC.Thanks for your suggests about motherboards and what do you know about it that ram will work at 2666Mhz only whith this CPU s?

Your ram will work at 3200 as it should be if you apply the XMP settings

I’m currently trying to boot my I-7 9700K with 16 GB of 3200Mhz RAM, it booted into BIOS once but now I only get yellow DRAM light on Mobo...
