I7 8700k vs ryzen 2700x

I confused on what I should do current setup

I5 8600k
Msi z370 gaming m5 motherboard
Ssd m.2 250 wd black for os
Seagate 2tb firecuda for gaming
16gb 3200mhz ddr4 gskill tridentz

I am upgrading to the i7 8700k shouldni return these for ryzen 7 2700x

Purpose is gaming and streaming

Was also going to return the CPU fan the ma610p and get the thermaltake 360 premium rgb watercooling for the i7

What are everyone's thoughts

Well either the 8700K or 2700X would easily handle gaming and streaming. The 8700K would be easier as you could just drop the CPU into your current build and start gaming while with the Ryzen you'd have to replace the motherboard and reinstall Windows/drivers.

Personally I'd be lazy and just get the 8700K, as for cooling that AIO would work fine or you could go with a higher end air cooler which would be quieter.

Yeh cuz the current CPU fan I got is like really close to the ram like its touching it to I just bought this like a few weeks ago the entire set up

I see, yea the AIO's are good if your limited in size for a larger air cooler but just be aware that the fans will probably be louder then your current air one. I replaced my H100i with Cougar Vortex PWM fans.

well wildcard what other rgb water coolers do u recommend ireally dont wanna spend 200 on that thermaltake one

hmm i can do that option anything else u come with let me know im looking my self to i mean i saw this coolermaster one for like 115 already had rgb fans plus i have points on my credit card like 80 bucks so
