Question i7-8700K w/ RTX 2060 or Ryzen 7 2700X w/ RTX 2070

Looking into buying one of these two prebuilt PCs from best buy, purely for gaming (Yes, I know I could build it myself and save money but I'm too lazy). I can get one with an i7-8700K and RTX 2060, 16gb ram, 120gb ssd, 2tb hdd for $1200. OR I can get one with a Ryzen 7 2700X and RTX 2070, 16gb ram, 240gb ssd, 2tb hdd for $1150. Now it seems like a no brainer to me to go with the latter as it has a 2070, twice the ssd storage, and is a little cheaper, though I am aware the intel processor is better. I'm just curious if it is better to the point that I should go with that one instead. Main game I play is fortnite also, and I hear fortnite generally favors intel cpus.

It would have been better if you wait a bit and request the OEM or the prebuilt pc manufacturer to put a ryzen 3000 series cpu in place of the r7, it would be much more future proof

Well the Ryzen 7 2700X is paired really well with the 2070, if you cant wait just go with the ryzen 7 its really good.
Or else just wait for the 3rd generation of ryzen.
