[SOLVED] I7 8th worth

Hello! I want to built a pc but the deal is not fair here in pakistan so i find these spec :

I7 8700k and msi z390 edge ac=440$
Ryzen 3600x,b550m auros and 16gb ram=440$
I5 10600k and msi z490 mobo=598$
I5 9600k,z390 ud,8gb ram and psu=600$. Here prices are to hight i can't what would i buy.

3600x+motherboard+ram seems like the best deal.

The 3600x is close to a 8700k and not far behind a 10600k, and it seems much cheaper in this case. Plus, it has a stock cooler which can be used too.

I'd suggest the 3600X combo. 9600K is a really really bad deal. 10600K is a bit better, but the 3600X combo +$140 without RAM is bad deal.

8700K and 3600X are pretty much same performance. You get RAM and cooler with 3600X so I'd say go with that.

When you get the 8700K you also must add the price of the memory and a good cooler for it the 8700K don't come with a cooler so your choice.

EDIT I think your also looking at the 8700K that is overclocked to 5.0 and the 3600X is not listed their.

Most places the difference is so small it's barely noticeable. Plus the RAM and cooler. Those don't come cheap either, once you add that cost, the gain isn't worth it

Also the 3600x can later be upgraded to a Ryzen 5000 series chip. The 8th and 9th gen are dead platforms, and cannot be upgraded past a 9900k. The 10600k is faster, but not that much money faster.
