I7 920 temps, they feel hot!!!

My room feels like a sauna!
Ambient is about 20-23C, here is a screenshot of realtemp/coretemp/speedfan, they are all giving me different readings which one is most reliable?

these temps are after 5 mins of idle with my gpu fan running 100% and the two exhaust 120mm fans on my p183 at 100%, not very impressive compared to my e8400.
what is temp1-2-3 mean?
and what do the core 0-1 temps mean?
i checked in bios and it says my temps are 40+...which is hothothot!

Your temps are fine the i7's run hotter and are able to take more heat. Also the cores temps vary slightly this is perfectly normal.

this is with the TRUE HSF, thought it would atleast put me at mid 30s.
what does temp1-2-3 and core0-1 in speedfan mean?
i always thought core = cpu temp, but it's too low, and there are only two of them.
or is there only two places u can measure on the "core" of the cpu?

Check your CPU voltage. If that 1.5V speedfan is showing is your cpu voltage that is way too high and is the cause of your heat.
