im new to over clocking and i just overclocked my i7-9700k to 5.0 ghz following this guide
View: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bD1Ze80GpLo&ab_channel=BoostedMedia
did basically everything he did and ran a few stress test

idle the temps sit at 35-40 degrees

1st was aida64 for about 25 min and it passed with top temp of 72 degrees
2nd cinebench 3 times passed all three times with top temp of 72 degrees
3rd intel burner test on stander passed with top temp of 80 degrees
4th intel burner test on very high failed up my voltage from 1.3 to 1.325
5th intel burner test on very high passed with top temps of 93 degrees
6th intel burner on very high i dropped to 1.320 passed with temp going up to 91 degrees but holding around 85-88
7th intel burner on very high i dropped down to 1.315 failed and went back up to 1.320 and got the same results

i plan on doing a occt test later today

so im basically wondering if i should lower the OC because the temps got so high on the last few stress test or what changes should i try to get the temps lower

also are these high temps normal when doing stress test

this is my build:
CPU: i7-9700k
MB: ASUS prime z390-a
GPU: EVGA - GeForce GTX 1080 Ti 11GB SC Black Edition
Ram: Corsair - Vengeance LPX 32GB (4x 8GB) DDR4-3000
Cooler: Corsair - H100i v2 70.7 CFM Liquid
SSD: 2 x Samsung 850 EVO
HDD: WD Blue 3TB
power: EVGA SuperNOVA 750 G3, 80 Plus Gold 750W

Solution
The temps were reasonably normal, for the most part. I would recommend lowering the oc just a little bit, but when playing games, you will almost never see the temps at 90 degrees.
