[SOLVED] i7-9700K or i9-9900K?

So I’m considering getting a overclocking CPU next year or so for my MSI MEG Z390 ACE mobo.
I’m struggling whether to get the i7-9700K or the i9-9900K. I heard that i7-9700K makes games run faster and i9 has good hyperthreading. One part of me tells me the i7 and the other part of me the i9. Which one should I go for?

P.S. I have a Corsair H100i RGB Platinum AIO. My case cannot fit a 360mm or 280mm aio. I also don’t know if the full-loaded i9 can survive well with the cooler that I have.

Which exact motherboard? All low end and many mid range Z390’s are not suitable for a 9900k even though they claim to support it. Generally a 240mm AIO is not considered strong enough for a 9900k but if you don’t plan on overclocking it will probably work.

Ok, no problem there. You can run a 9900k with a 240mm AIO but overclocking is unlikely or very limited.

Im running 9900k with hyper evo and runs great BF5 al temps under 70c

My system pulls under 450 watts under BF5 load
