I have a i7 9700k, aorus pro z390 motherboard and a Corsair H100x Hydro Cooler am I able to overclock it and if so how much?

a lot is going to depend on the "silicone lottery" ie your cpu, and on your case's airflow and how much heat that AIO can shed

Only way to find out is to try and see
MSI has a pretty decent "OC by the numbers" tutorial on their web, showing the individual BIOS pages
- some of the nomenclature won't be exactly the same as your GIG board, but it won't take you long to figure out what they're referring to
