The price is around 2750€ which is not so high considering its specs. I would like to read your opinion about this computer: The CPU is i7-9750h and the GPU is RTX 2080, do you think this is great or a waste of money considering the price? The RTX 2080 is paired with i7-9750h, this CPU, which is among the best currently available for gaming laptops, would cause bottleneck while gaming far earlier than RTX 2080? So in that case, what would be the point of having RTX 2080? My point is: is good pairing i7-9750h with RTX 2080 or you would achieve the same fps pairing i7-9750h with RTX 2070 or RTX 2060 because the CPU is not a good match with RTX 2080?

Depends on a few things.

1. does this laptop suffer from thermal throttling like many many many gaming laptops?

2. If no then the next question is how loud it will be, and trust me some of these gaming laptops are insanely loud under load.

3. Use pcpartspicker.com and build yourself a system with similar specs, chances are you can build a gaming computer far cheaper. Most likely you could probably buy a every day use cheap laptop on top of it and still save money.

And finally remember with a gaming laptop there is 0 upgrade path on anything. You get what you get. Yeah sure some support external GPUs but they are entirely too expensive IMO to justify the cost.

I have that cpu with a gtx 1660ti, and it works great. Quite sure it will work fine with a rtx 2080 too.
Keep in mind the cpu gets hot, so undervolt it with XTU from intel, that's what I did and it stays in the 80's.
I have the Lenovo Legion Y540, so not sure how the cooling on your laptop is. Might be different.

Go on youtube and search for reviews of your laptop. That will give you a good indication on how it performs. :)

If you’re getting this for gaming it’s completely pointless. For a start gaming laptops need to be attached to a wall to last longer than an hour and secondly the 2080 is a 4K card. Why do you need 4K on a what 15” screen?

High end laptops are tough to justify, sure they can be fast, but unless you absolutely need a portable system and can't live without gaming at high quality settings all the time and don't care much about money, a medium range laptop and a desktop are much better. You buy a laptop for 2,750, it dies 3 months out of warranty, you threw away 2,750. You buy a 1,000 laptop which is still fine for games, it dies, you can buy another with an extra 750 in your pocket. Or you pay 2,750, 3 years later a 1,500 system is just as fast. You basically lost 1,750. You buy a 1,000 laptop, in 3 years get a faster one for same price if you want, you still saved 750.

If you have enough money where 2-3,000 is not much to you and you don't worry about losing it, then sure it's nice, same thing as buying a high end car vs just a good one, or spending money on jewelry, if you got nothing else you can spend the money on.
