Question I7 CPU what psu do I need?

I am looking into getting a i7 my current PSU is only 300watts is that enough 😀

Depends on rest of system, where the GPU is often the largest potential power hog...

(One normally only finds 300 watt PSUs in older OEM systems or smaller mini-ITX builds, I'd expect...)

What i7 are you contemplating adding to what system/mainboard? What GPU (if any) is installed?

what's your current cpu? why are you looking to upgrade? are you certain it's the cpu that's causing your system to be slow?
