I7 life expectancy

Hey guys, I currently have my i7 920 at 3.80GHz, 1.345V vcore and everything else on default/auto. I'm very happy with the performance but I'm a bit concerned about chip degradation . Are those clock and voltage values high enough to seriously shorten my proc's lifespan or can I sleep calm at night? I'm considering dropping it to 3.66.

Yes, that will degrade your chip faster...but by the time your chip is degraded, it's time for a new rig anyways.

downgrade it man .you dont need 3.8 ghz for anything.
for gaming definately your gfx card will be a bottleneck more than your cpu.
in my opinion 3.2 ghz will be enough from that chip.

You're fine. 1.345V is well within the intel spec. Don't worry about it.
