i7 or xeon for streaming

i7 3770 + 2x4gb 1600mhz =173$
Xeon e3 1230 v2 + 2x4gb 1600mhz =138$
I want to buy one i can gaming on it and stream on games like bf v , pubg and fortnite

Gpu: rx 570
Psu: cooler master mwe 550w

Target gaming resolution : 1080p
target stream 720p

So which one is better ? And does the i7 worth the more 35$ ?

I'd go for the i7 if it's for gaming/streaming over the xeon anyday. Xeons are mostly optimised for server processing and stuff. The i7 will perform better, as single core performance will be higher in i7 and can be used for streaming too and will perform better than the xeon.

I7 for most performance on gaming.

Xeon for servers(can be used for gaming but lower core performance and optimisation for gaming tasks)

Xeon and i7 are basically the same. The difference being some added instruction sets in Xeon allowing for things like ECC ram, which the i7 is disabled, and some instruction sets in the i7 are optimized for graphics usage which is disabled in the Xeon. This can affect gameplay fps. As is, the 1230v2 is also slower than the i7 base clock/turbo which can affect games fps. You'd have to use a Xeon like a 1270v2 to have something equitable to the i7.

The 3770 is going to be slightly faster but that may only translate to a few FPS in game, if possible I would go Xeon + 2x8gb of memory as streaming with 8gb may hurt your performance.

I'd get the 3770 for the iGPU as the Xeon doesn't have one.

It will if it's being utilized but if you were using a dedicated GPU with both the Xeon & i7 the performance/heat should be pretty much the same.
