I7 that will go with my Motherboard

Hey I want to upgrade my i5 to a i7 but I'm not to good with specs and would like to know what i7 is compatible with my Motherboard

Motherboard is ASRock Z97 Extreme4 Motherboard

Intel Core i7-4790K is the best you can get on that MB.

Can you tell us what I5 are you having right now? What cooler are you using?

It's a Intel Core i5 4690K and Antec High Current Gamer 620W Modular HCG-620M

Yeah, not much performance gain if you switch from 4690k to 4790k for gaming....
Can you list all your rig specs and reason for upgrading? Do you have a CPU cooler?

Oh ok, well it's mainly for better frams on pubg, it's runs fine but I get bad frames when first loading in the game. All the buildings look like pladough and can't enter them for about 30 seconds. And whilst driving I'll get like a tear and the game will freeze for a couple of seconds then back to normal. I generally get over 60 fps but it's just the thing I said that are annoying.

And no I don't have a cpu cooler
