That cpu cooler wasn't meant to handle and unclocked 11 gen cpu. Try something like this.Cooler Master Hyper 212 Black Edition.
Or save some money by going with either a B560/H570 board with decent VRM's and pair it up with a i7 11700F along with a half decent aftermarket cooler and run that cpu with the power limits turned off. btw what country are you located?I'm buying a cpu and thinking between i9 10850k and i7 11700k. I'll mostly be playing games and doing some editing
The price difference is 40-50$ in my country
I already have a z490 board and i'm from FinlandOr save some money by going with either a B560/H570 board with decent VRM's and pair it up with a i7 11700F along with a half decent aftermarket cooler and run that cpu with the power limits turned off. btw what country are you located?
What cpu cooler are you using? From personal experience with my i7-11700k. It runs like booty but it could just be that it gets too hot or something. It only sits at 70c when I game. Make sure you keep looking into things before you settle on it and mine is only 3 days old.

I wonder if this is the reason I am getting microstutters every 3-5 mins. I've spent like an extra 600$ on RAM, Storage and a new 144 mhz monitor trying to find a fix. That cpu cooler wasn't meant to handle and unclocked 11 gen cpu. Try something like this.
