I apologize if this is already a thoroughly beaten topic. I'm kind of down to the wire for time today to make a decision and decided I would get some additional opinions from Tom's community if I can, quickly.

Very long story short, which will also exclude some context, I need to perform a return exchange in a retail store today of a prebuilt(purchased open box, ended up being defective) and I'm torn between a couple options to exchange for.

One desktop has a 13900KF + 64GB RAM and the other is 14900KF + 32GB RAM. Both as spec'd out the same for all other components, aside from the power supply which I know is kind of a coinflip with these prebuilts.

From what I can see online it seems like the difference between the two i9s is very very very small. Also worth noting I'd get like $20-30 refunded back to my card if I went with the 13900KF system. Under these exact conditions, which would you go with?

Solution
With a high level of multitasking, Pick the 64gb option.
The difference between 13900K and 14900K is negligible.
I don't like the F option, but I guess that is not part of the possibilities.

Thank you. I ended up going with the 13900KF. I can't imagine in the next 2-3 years needing the small amount of extra processing power, but my workload does sometimes require more VMs and that has potential to expand year after year.
