Question I9 9900K issue or GTX 1080TI Issue?

Hi everyone,

I am very annoyed by this issue.
I set windows and Nvidia to maximun preferred performance and its doing the same.
I have this issue from the beginig that i installed my whole pc by myself:
I9 9900K (Stock)
GTX 1080TI (Stock)
Aorus Master Z390 (Newest Bios) F8e
4 x 8GB Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 3200 MHZ
Corsair HX1200I
Corsair H115i Platinum
Samsung 970 Pro 512GB
Corsair 500D SE RGB

The issue that annoyed me is the micro stuttering in every game... even in WC3. I see the monitoring of my pc and i think everything is doing well..

As you can in this video, while i am playing wc3 i am stuttering every 10 sec during 0.1sec-0.5sec.
You can appreciate the ´´lag´´ at 1:25 when it stutters hard.

Is anyone having the same issue or its just me with this cpu and gpu?

you only have one drive running?

the Samsung 970 Pro 512GB? Have you downloaded the latest drivers for it?

Video dosnt work in second link. Did you download just the drivers for your 1080ti or download and using GeForce expierence?

I just upped my samsung 970 driver, still the same issue...

I upped the 1080TI driver to 419.17, and i didnt install geforce experience.

I am using Dell U3417W with 3440x1440 resolution, it shouldnt be the problem i think.

I WOULD RUN TASK MANAGER IN BACK ROUND WHILE YOU GAME AND SEE IF SOMETHING IS RUNNING IN BACKROUND AND CAUSING STUTTERING. Also try turning off your anti virus program while gaming and see if that helps.

I just did this, and didnt notice anything making the game stutters, btw i reinstalled the OS and still the same issue, could it be unlucky cpu or gpu?

How full is your ssd? It seems like your stuutering is caused by slow loading stuttering as opposed to stuttering from slow gpu or cpu. Do you have the most current chipset drivers loaded i.e.--1846.12.0.1177-- 10.1.17861.8101--30.100.1841.2 https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/Z390-AORUS-MASTER-rev-10#support-dl-driver-chipset

is everything brand new including the storage drives? or did you transfer your OS from an old system?

Looks like the same issue as me...

I have exactly the same symptons when objects are being loaded. or heroes are being spammed.. I can easily re-create this issue in dota 2 demo.

Phantom Lancer in dota 2 with auto-select units, will also behave exactly like this... some sort of objects loading causes these 0.5m small micro-stutter...
Removing the GPU out of the motherboard, and running off the CPU Display(IGPU) same results...

Everything has been replaced by now and the problem persists, go figure.
