[SOLVED] i9 9900k overclock

I just overclocked my 9900k and could only get a cinebench score of 1990-2060 at all cores 5ghz with 1.36 V. Am I doing something wrong since the score is so low?

I don't think your Cinebench score is that bad to be honest. I have a 9900k overclocked to 5.ghz with 1.28V. I get very similar score to yourself. The first time I ran it I got 2125. But I happen to check it again yesterday and now my score does not go above 2084. Though my temps don't go above 77C. I have a very similar set up to yourself

Alright thanks for the answer, I tried closing down background programs and got a much better score at 2160
