Question i9 9900k vs 5900x with 1080ti (help)

I have a dilemma and I would like you to help me.

I currently have an i7 4790k with a 1080ti.

I always play at 1080p on a 144hz monitor. I don't play much but when I do I like everything to run smoothly.

I haven't played PUBG for a while and it seems they touched something that is affecting older processors, so I need to upgrade.

I have these options:

Ryzen 9 5900x + 32GB RAM corsair vengeance LPX 4x8GB 3200mhz CL16 + Asus TUF Gaming B45-Plus for about €310.

Intel 9900k + Hyperx fury rgb ddr4 3200mhz 2x16gb cl16 + Asus tuf z390-plus gaming wifi

I don't know the price of this last pack, since a friend is selling it to me, but I don't know what the price would be considering how much the Ryzen costs. Could you tell me what price you would prefer for the Intel?

My other option was to wait for a 5800x3d, I saw some packs a while ago around 350-400€, but I don't know if they will be back in the near future.

I'm not in a hurry either, what I'm most interested in is finding a good price for the Intel, because if my friend sells it to me for the agreed price, I'd rather buy it from him, unless you tell me it's crazy to buy something so "outdated". (Although I always buy outdated things hahaha)

You missed a zero after the 45 regardless, if you're going with the AM4 platform, get a B550 chipset motherboard and pair that with a dual channel tight latency 32GB kit meant to run at DDR4-3600MHz and if your system is meant purely for gaming and productive as a secondary or tertiary task, then look at the X3D SKU's. IMHO, your friend's just offloading a mistake he's made or probably a collection of parts he has left over after upgrades.

It's becoming clearer and more difficult for me at the same time LOLOLOLOL.

My power supply is an Antec High Current PRO 850 80 Plus Gold. I don't really know how old it is, but it's quite old xD, I estimate 10 or 12, although it seems to still be working well.

My friend has a corsair rm750 750w 80 plus gold full modular. Bought in February 2021.

Ok, and the last question.
What do you prefer? A 5800x3d for around €200-210 or a 5700x3d for around €165?

I think I'll base the build on one of those 2, since I don't use any editing or streaming. All I do is store stuff on hard drives and I don't think threads and cores are necessary for that XDDD.

P.D: Oh! and another problem is that my heatsink is a thermalright silver arrow ib-e. And from what I see it is not compatible with AM4, I will have to look on aliexpress or similar to see if there is an affordable adapter, since I saw that on the official website years ago they sold it for at least €20...

My friend has an nfortec hydrus rgb 240, I don't know if it's worth it to buy it or look for the adapter.

One IT guy suggested one 0 iGPU (like F versions about Core i) + GPU, because he said forces less the CPU, makes sense, they'll be more affordable and might consumption be less. I would choose both options, intel or AMD, both rock. I prefer intel; detail: PSU>MB>CPU>RAM>SSD>GPU, my favorite order. One bad PSU = higher ripple noise, doing your CPU stressed and may lifespan be shorter, also Gold or better about 80+ = less heat being wasted = better energy. For this reason I recommend 80+ Gold PSUs. As I know 80+ Bronze 50% charge equals to 85% efficiency; 10% of load about Gold beyond 85%.

I wouldn't want to pay more than 200 Euro and only if I couldn't afford a 5700x3d
