[SOLVED] i9 reads as i7 in device manager?

I just built a new pc with an I9 processor on a ASUS Prime X-299-A II. I am trying to get into overclocking and how it works. Well when I went through the Devices I noticed this....well i could not attach a screenshot. idk why? There are a bunch of i7 devices but no i9. I know its an i9 i put it in myself and cpu-z reads correctly. I am worried this is affecting my performance.

What cpu did you think you installed and what cpu does it say you have.

This site only accepts 3rd party hosting sites, like imgur.com or postimages.org. It doesn't accept personal uploads directly, helps avoid malware, virus, hacks etc.

Those don't identify your cpu. Those are Xeon P family OR Core i7 (that's the / ) chipset drivers.

It's like Windows 10 still uses DOS commands (CMD or CMD Admin), doesn't mean it's DOS based. Many drivers are similar, 1 driver covers many cpus Intel just doesn't bother changing the names for every cpu considering its the same driver for all.

That is what I figured in my research on this. Thanks for the verification. It just seems to lag sometimes and for brand new and just put together idk.
