hi there,
My specs is
Apex 890
285K SP 85
24*2 mdie Acer 6800

Someone helped me to OC to 8800 with 69.2 latency (he says no way to lower it anymore).
5.5 P core, 5.0 E core synchronized
3.2 NGU 3.5 D2D 4.0 min&max ring

It shows 0 errors in windows hardware Erros(whea) in HWinfo 64 while running R23. I guess that’s a success.

Then I disabled bunch of useless stuff in bios, such as Vtd, virtualization technology, Intel innovation frame work(DTT), speedstep, speedshift, tvb, Cstate, ceps. And rises temperature limit to 115, power limit to max.

However, it always shows IA limit reason as YES no matter what I do. Is there any particular reason for that? How do I fix that?

Thanks in advance.

No direct answer (full disclosure) regarding the AI limit reasons always being yes.

AI is being broadly applied in many ways and how any specific feature or function actually works may be subject to question.

Update your post to include full system hardware specs and OS information.

My thoughts:

You must be certain about "useless stuff" in BIOS. May not apply to your requirements but the system may need something for reasons both known or unknown.

Also good practice when disabling things is to only disable one thing at a time while keeping track of what was changed (original and new values) and where the change was made.

Allow time between changes. Do some checking (i.e., HWInfo etc.) between changes to track what happens, what is now different etc..

You may need to reset and start over.

However, before doing so, find and carefully read the full motherboard Guide/Manual.

ROG lists multiple "890" versions.

And, of course, you must delve deeper into HWInfo 64 to find out what and why everything is being reported as "Yes".

Take a screenshot or two of what is being presented and post the screenshots here via imgur (www.imgur.com).
