Hello everyone,
I've got this Lenovo thinkcentre desktop PC (model: 6305-B1U)that up until a recent power outage had been working fine. It's not my PC but I was informed that the user was not using a surge protector at the time. It's running Windows Vista basic. It has a core 2 duo 2.40 Ghz processor, 2gb of ram, 160 gb hdd. Currently it does not turn on at all. I have tried the following measures to remedy the situation:
1. Re-seated all hardware multiple times
2. Disconnected all non-essential hardware
3. removed/moved around memory sticks/ tried different ones
4. tested the power supply (tested: Working Good)
5. Tried a different processor (one that i know works)
6. Replaced the motherboard (with the exact same model [ a57 m57e ])
Still dead.
I feel like I've tried everything, but does anyone have any ideas? I'm pretty stumped here.
Thanks : )
