Ichill gtx 960 + ssd or gigabyte gtx 970

As the title, I'm going to upgrade my pc with I5 6500 and asrock z170 extreme 4 with a 8gb DDR4 ram. But i don't which gpu I should go for. How long can gtx 970 be run if i don't oc it but oc a little bit of cpu

If your monitor is under 1080P the GTX 950 and a SSD is not a bad option.

However, if you don't mind waiting a tad bit longer for windows and some games to load the GTX 970 is a good option.

Personally, i would go with the GTX 970.

Game software is never going to get 'less demanding'. Buy all the GPU muscle you can afford now to last as long as possible before an inevitable future upgrade.
