I have so many disk drives that I've run out of drive letters. So I've started using mountvol.

mountvol <drive:>\path volumename mounts the drive in an existing ntfs folder.

If the drive is GPT, explorer displays the drive icon. If it were MBR it would display the folder icon.

I want it to diplay the folder icon. I've tried changing it in explorer's customize tab but Windows ignores any selections I make.

Does anyone know of a way to change this so it is a folder icon like all the others? I'm guessing it is going to be a registry tweak.
