Icons All Blank

After putting shortcuts for all my programs into a certain folder, I noticed Audacity had a missing icon. So, I clicked on properties, but in there, the icon was normal. I remade the shortcut, but no avail. After this, I attempted to change the icon with IconChanger, which did nothing to it. I then cleared the Icon Cashe, which deleted almost every icon permanently. Only a select few have kept them, with no apparent pattern. I've tried IconPacker to reload the icons, but that only worked with Windows specific programs. The weirdest thing is that all the icons appear perfectly fine when in IconChanger, looking at all the shortcuts. A solution would be great.

Perhaps your user account is corrupt. Create a new one with admin rights and log into that. If that works, move all of you stuff from old to new and delete the old one. Good luck...
