Question Icons randomly move to second display.

I have two displays plugged into my PC. One to monitor with DP and one to TV with HDMI. Whenever i have both plugged in, all the icons on my primary display get reorganized and some get moved to my second display (randomly.) They will all return to normal if i unplug my second display. Does anyone know how to fix this? I made sure my monitor is the primary display and i have unchecked auto organize icons as well as updating video drivers.

If you're on windows 10 go into Display settings and set the monitor that you want as the primary display when you have two monitors hooked up. The issue you're speaking of happens when the second monitor is chosen, by default by the OS, as the primary monitor hence why the icons move to the other screen.

You should find a option to tick to set a corresponding monitor as default, but you're going to have to select screen 1 or 2 in the windowed menu for the option to appear below.
