I am looking to "finally" move to the iCore CPU, I recently purchased two eVGA 650ti Boost SC 2GB to run on a 680i board, don't feel that I am getting great performance with the QX6800 installed.

I am considering the eVGA X79 SLI board, since it is SLI and a 3rd PCI-E for a physX card, but not sure if I can do that, since I have not found any supporting documentation.

So in a a nutshell, any recommendations... on....

1. A SLI board with a 3rd PCI-E for physX card, or just SLI.
2. CPU with will run well with the 2 650ti Boost in SLI.
3. Cost needs to be minimum. Under $300 for complete set up.
4. Main purpose, Gaming, Web browsing, and IT study with VMs. ]
5. I don't need a CASE, nor PSU.

Looking to start with 8GB and then move to 32Gb, yeah, I know, 32Gb is crazy, but if I run Windows 8 Pro, I can run VMs, then I can run VMs for IT study, instead for running a separate Windows 2008 computer for VMs.
I run a Windows 2008 computer with 8GB on a ASUS 975X board.
Thanks ahead of time, any suggestions would be appreciated.

The X79 platform is needlessly expensive, look at Z87/Z77 chipset with a 3570K/4670K. The GTX650ti BOOST 2gb SLIs really well at a decent price.
