Question iCUE problems - Version 5.8.130, AIO won't sync at start ?

I have been having problems with my K70 RGB Mk2 not syncing with Icue at start. I would need to unplug it every day to get it to use right colors. So I thought, I get a new keyboard. I did that yesterday, using a wireless KB now. Not Corsair. No software required.


Start PC today, my AIO isn't linking to Icue now. It seemingly wasn't running any fan curves. ignored all attempts to get it to start using them.
restarted PC to see if that helps. It loads the rgb theme at start and then I hear the USB connect noise and it loads the hardware profile on fans and no idea about what fan curve it runs but it seems too relaxed.

uninstalled Icue and deleted profiles. reinstalled it and it seemed to remember some of the themes but no fan curves data. I remade the ones I had and assigned those to my themes. It seems to be sensitive, if I run Icue and look at colors its just as likely to set them to hardware.

I know the previous build of Icue had a problem where it ignored the fan curves but the RGB thing is new to me

Die you try updating the Firmware yet?
is the Bios of the motherboard up to date? As well as chipset and usb drivers
Try different ports/Header on the motherboard

Try a clean install

firmware at latest versions
BIOS up to date as are chipset drivers. USB part of windows.

what do you mean? The usb slot the AIO attached to worked every other day until today.

If it happens again tomorrow I will do the clean install. I would have done it today if it had shown me that link

Completely wiping Icue didn't fix it, as I reinstalled it on startup again and in a few minutes it was cycling between running and then I hear the USB Disconnection sound and fans will slow, colors change and it starts running fans again.
It did that 6 times and with no sign of ending, I restarted PC.

I have set up a profile, that seems to have stopped the cycling

I took easy way out, instead of putting up with Icue being broken, I bought another AIO that doesn't use it. I will likely delete it a 3rd time in coming days. Use signalrgb and fancontrol to look after new AIO.
