On the hunt for a new cooler, still undecided between liquid or air and it all comes down to the best value for performance, with looks also playing a part. I came across the Zoomflow 240x Snow and I really like the looks of it for the price (currently $89.99). My top choice in air right now is the Scythe Fuma 2 at $60.

I'm not too familiar with the brand and haven't found any reviews for this X version, just what seems to be the older 240 non-X. That one seemed to have good performance for the low price, but I have no idea on the long term reliability of this brand. It looks like it has a 2 year warranty, which concerns me a little when the bigger names seem to have 5 or 6 years.

What's the general opinion on ID Cooling quality?

Solution
I mean, its an AIO, most of them are made by the same 2 primary pump manufacturers, CoolIt and Asetek with a few actually being built in-house (like Arctic Liquid Cooler II - according to Arctic).
Best price to performance is air, hands down. It's been that way for a LONG time.
Air coolers are immortal, aside from the fans.
Not the case with hybrid coolers. When that pump inevitably dies, "That's all folks!", proceeded by you tossing the entire unit out - well, you can keep the fans if they're not busted.

Most of the members here are based in North America, where ID Cooling doesn't have much of a presence.
Someone who has used those products may still chime in though.

I have a couple of these that I've tested, but wasn't able to publish the article due to availability.

They're just an AIO, like most budget models, so no real frills or niceties.

My opinion, if you are going to get an AIO, the Arctic Liquid Freezer II line is very good for the price, otherwise...a really good air cooler is your best bet for that price range.

Any other thoughts on quality and reliability that you can share? The price of the black version just dropped the another 20% on Amazon today, putting it just a few dollars more than some of the air coolers I'm looking at.

I know that I can probably get better performance for my money with air cooling, but it's been an ugly year and I want something that's nice too look at. I find the RGB lighting to be very soothing and relaxing when I sit down at the computer after a long stressful day.
