These are the current specs:
Processor: Intel Core i3 550 @ 3.2 GHz
RAM: 8 Gbs
System Type: 64-bit, ACPI x64-based processor
Graphics Card: AMD Radeon HD 7850

So that's the current build. I would like to know the best and cheapest way to upgrade. Sorry if this is sounds noobish, i'm not a pro. The main thing i'd like to upgrade is the graphics card. I have a $350 budget. Thanks.

I recommend selling your 7850 for maybe $80 USD (more or less) as well as your cpu for about $10 (though the profits are so small, you might not even want to bother selling it). Since cpu improvements have been minimal for a few generations, you're better off upgrading to an i5 or i7 on lga 1156 to avoid buying a new motherboard. Looking around on the forums, it seems like the i5 650 or i7 870 will do. These can be had for $50-$100 in used condition on Ebay. Paired with a gtx 970, neither will be a bottleneck, especially if you overclock them. Depending on which card manufacturer you go with (I can vouch for EVGA - $320 on Amazon, Msi - $336 on Amazon, and Asus - $340 on Amazon), that comes out to around $370 (conservatively) for cpu + gpu. With the sale of your old cpu and gpu, your budget becomes about $440. This leaves some extra money for a better power supply or an SSD. This is the best solution I could come up with, but someone else may have something better. Good Luck!
