IDE hdd on sata

i have 2 IDE HDD and a IDE dvd drive. my new motherboard has only SATA no IDE. can i go with ide to sata converter or ide to pci card. os is on one of the ide hdd. will it boot.

You will need a IDE controller card. I've never heard of a IDE to SATA converter.

i've used several IDE to sata adapters
The one I used with good results looked somewhat like these but was made by Rosewill.
