2003 can not load....
i know this need IDE Mode. but how in this motherboard?Any Bios Update? thx a lot

You need to press [F6] when it asks if you need to provide additional storage drivers. Problem is they are expected to be on a floppy in drive A:. Since that won't work, the next solution is to add the drivers as explained here and other similar solutions: http://rashed-itsolutions.blogspot.ca/2009/06/how-to-install-windows-xp-server-2003.html Finding compatible SATA drivers for Windows 2003 and your motherbaord's chipset may be an issue.

Why would you use Windows Server 2003? If you need it, then virtualize it.

Hi,thx a lot for your answer
but, Asus do not support any windows server or any IDE windows support driver for this mother board.
it support just windows 8 to 10
now so i can not find any driver for win 2003 for this BIOS.

About win 2003, i need it for sql 2000 and notice i do not want install sql 2000 in windows client 10 :)
for virtualize, win 2003 is very very slow in vmware. i tested it in HP Proliant ML10 GEN 9 HP server :)

now i am very confuse

You need to add the SATA drivers to Windows Server 2003 and create a new installation CD or DVD. You could also add a bootable PCI Express IDE Controller, but personally I'd stay away from that solution. I presume this isn't a production server; you tested it with what VMware product? ESX, Workstation or Reader? I used to run Windows 2003 Server in VMware Workstation, but I didn't need it to be fast since it never was used in production. If it does a lot of I/O, then run the VM on a SSD.

first way i tested.but i can not find any driver for 2003 in z170 pro gaming...
for second , :) i do not test it yet
for third : workstation , but i need run a sql 2000 in it and restore program database backup
so for 30 client that work with this old program, i need speed. i thinking about install ESXI.

and thx a lot for your answering
