IDE To SATA hard disk not getting detected

Sir I am useing IDE type board but HDD is SATA Hard Disk Not Detected please tell the step by step

Does your motherboard have SATA ports? How have you got the HDD connected to the motherboard?

So you are using a sata to IDE adapter block correct? If so please make sure on the direction of the signal on the adapter as i recall there are to ways to use the adapter and that is dependent on how you are connecting the drive to the board.
