Idea for sharing a pc

I was wondering if this was possible. Id be sharing a computer with my brother and the idea is to buy 2 hdds and redirecting one of the profiles to one of the hdds and having their own stuff on their own hdds (games, programs, etc) The only thing we'd share would be the hardware. Im not home all the time so when Im gone he would be using it.

There is no need to direct the whole user account profile to a different drive. Nor should you.

You can cause files like Doc/Music/Pics to go to a different drive. That's no problem.
You can have Steam games installed on different drives. Again, no problem.
Similarly, you can install applications on whichever drive you choose.

But 2 different accounts, with actual passwords...User A can't see User B's stuff.

So I have two options to sign in from, my brother and my own. With that, when I log into my own, can I have it set so that my downloads and everything go to one drive and when my brother signs into his, it goes into his? We play different types of games and one hdd would be less than the other so I wouldnt want my games taking up his space. And wed like to customize our own desktop to out likings, etc
