Ideal cable thicknesses for 12V fans?

Hi, I'm wondering what sort/size cabling I'm going to need to power a few 12V fans from a spare PSU I have lying around. Is the size cable I need measured in Gauge? Thanks in advance.

Anything will do, the cables that come with the fans are enough.
Although, if you intend to use a second PSU with your PC, I wouldn't recommend it.

Let me add a bit more detail... I'm wanting to run fans much further away from the PSU than the original wires already on the fans are so I'll be looking to buy a large roll of the size/thickness I will be requiring and doing my own lengths etc. (hence me asking what would be ideal) The PSU is going to be mounted seperately from the computer (sole purpose is for me to run any 12V accessories I need to straight from it). I've powered car subwoofers/amplifiers with it previously. Thanks

Well, I'm no expert, but I think the same thickness will work.
