[SOLVED] Ideal CPU/RAM configuration for RX580 1080p gaming?

Hi all,

I already have RX580 8GB videocard and 27' Philips full HD monitor, so I'm looking at other components based on that.
So far I'm looking at:

• 
  CPU: Ryzen 2600 for $154
  Motherboard: MSI B450 Tomahawk for $130
  RAM: 2x8GB CORSAIR Vengeance LPX 3200Mhz for $130
  PSU: 650w Corsair/EWGA power supply
  Storage: Sandisk 128GB SSD for $25, Seagate Barracuda 1TB HDD for $45
  keyboard/case etc. not relevant at the moment

I know that i5 8400 is slightly better in gaming, but 5-10% difference doesn't justify +30% price difference for me.

Opinion especially on motherboard and power supply is appreciated. Also on how well listed components work with each other and if there may be better alternatives roughly within this budget (can go up a bit).

I'd personally drop down to a b450 motherboard save a few bucks and get at least a 250gb SSD. Other than that looks like an excellent choice

Up to $70.

You should be able to get a Corsair RM650 or TX750 for that amount which is pretty damn good. The rest of your build looks good to me.

A few other options for motherboards:

  Gigabyte B450 Aorus
  And, MSI B450 Tomahawk

What else is important here, aside from AM4 support? Overclocking the CPU may be the case some time in the feature, but won't B450 Aorus do the job? What exactly determines $40 price difference between that one and other listed options worth $140?
