Ideal cpu temperature

Hello guys. Temp for my rig is range from 37c to 39c when idle. Is that an ideal temp for my rig? My specs are:

i5 6600k
Corsair h115i
Msi z170a gaming m7
Msi gaming x 1070
16gb ram vengeance led 3200
Wd blue 2tb
Rm850x psu
Corsair grphite 780t

of more importance is whats your temperature under load?

thats ok for idle maybe very slightly on the high side given your cooler but nothing to worry over

thats ok for idle maybe very slightly on the high side given your cooler but nothing to worry over

I haven't done anything yet on my rig. But I'm not sure if the temp can go higher than 80c if I put it under heavy load like gaming and rendering. I hope it won't go higher than that. BTW thanks a lot.

if its not overclocked shouldnt go over 80c even overclocked probably wont

i have a 6600k though not a true comparison as i have custom watercooling but at 4.7ghz maxing it to 100% load with running a ton of stuff to simulate real life use(not a fan of torture testing with prime95 etc)

it doesnt even break the 70c mark so the 6600k runs pretty cool compared to some cpus
