Hey TH Fam,
A while ago i upgraded to an i9 - 12900k with the ROG Strix z690e gaming board, as it was within my budget, but for the time being i could only afford the cheap lexar 2x16=32 4800 sticks. I want to get the Corsair Dominator Titanium 4x16=64 6400 sticks, but someone told me i would have problems running four 16 gb sticks at 6400 MHZ. The reason i want four sticks is that i want my ram slots to be full, they look good that way. should i get the Corsair Dominator Titanium 4x16=64 6000 sticks instead ? would they work ?

Running 4 sticks of DDR5 at a higher speed isn't reliable on anything, but especially 12th gen Intel. Your system might work okay with it, but also might only run stable at 4800-5200. I will say that I wouldn't try anything higher than 6000 for 4 sticks on 12th gen.

They can be at supported speeds there are no guarantees in the world of overclocking and DDR5 being so much faster than DDR4 in clockspeed means more signaling issues. This is why the Apex, Tachyon and Kingpin boards are all 2 DIMM slot boards with higher memory clocks than any 4 slot boards. ADL was also Intel's first go at a DDR5 memory controller which is why RPL parts are able to clock higher across the board. RPL would likely be capable of 6000-6400 without too much trouble in a 4 DIMM configuration.

According to the motherboards memory support link @RealBeast provided the only ram which is supported by my motherboard in a 4x16 =64 & 6000 Mhz configuration, is 👇

My problem is I want to have a full corsair build and i just don't want to go with kingston, no disrespect to the brand, itself.

If i choose corsair dominator titanium 4x16 (6000/6400) and use it without XMP profile in 4800, would it post ? Work normally ? Also is there a possibility of the corsair dominator be manually overclocked to 5600 ?

Check it if you upgrade to a i9-13900K or 14900K, then Corsair 4x16 is available @ 5600. Then sell the 12900 if you really want all Corsair. 🤔

QVLs are notoriously useless especially with DDR5. Motherboard makers bin the best CPUs and test with those for the QVL which means that what you see there is basically best possible outcome. Also they don't tend to go back and test more things on anything but the most expensive and/or overclocking focused boards.

Example of how stupid they are: I bought an Asus workstation board which supports ECC, but no ECC memory was on the QVL until about 3 months after I'd bought my ECC memory and it was working fine.

Your CPU has more to do with how the memory is going to work than the type of memory itself. It will work just fine with a Corsair kit, but you're just not guaranteed at what speed that may be.
