Question IdeaPad Flex 5 keyboard backlight

I recently got Lenovo's IdeaPad Flex 5 and I'm loving what it has to offer but I've quickly noticed that the keyboard's back-light doesn't stay on even with the laptop plugged in. Everything is up-to-date and I have the Lenovo Vantage program installed but the only setting for the keyboard is an on/off toggle. I'm not sure if Lenovo is a less used brand or what because using Google to try and find a solution almost nothing came up for my laptop, it was either other Lenovo laptops or some shady looking files that I have yet to try because they seem shady. I have also asked this same question over on Lenovo's forums in case someone over there has a solution that no one here had thought of.
