ideas for a rig to play skyrim with mods on Max settings

I'm looking for suggestions for my first build. I want to play skyrim and many other open world games with medium to heavy mods on Max settings. I will have between $600 to $1200 to spend. And what tools will I need to put this together. Thank you for your time.

If yu built it around 8gb of ram, an i5 4690k and a 970/980 , it'll run max settings no problem

You will need some hefty GPU power to play it with some heavy mods on max.

Yes it is. There are a few things that need to be cahnged. The motherboard must be a z97 for that CPU, that CPU cooler is way overpriced, and the on-board sound card is way more than enough for you. If you want a really nice motherboard audio solution you would need the UD5H or HERO VII. Besides, the only thing that really matters about quality sound is your speakers or headphones. That is basically it. And if you need good wifi, the z97-pro is your best bet for good audio, wifi and a good board overall.

I changed the video card because the windforce 3x has not been getting good reviews..

Yes that's much better thank you. So should I build myself or have some one with experiance? I really don't wanna pay for all this and mess up.
