Ideas on ways to upgrade.

Hey everyone! I built my first gaming PC a while back and it is still running great but I am finally noticing that its starting to slow down at times. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on what I could do to upgrade without going with a complete rebuild. Here is what Im running now. Thanks!

Asus P8 Z77-V LK motherboard.
GTX 680
8gb corsair ddr3 ram
i5 3570k
128gb ssd
1tb WD black HD
650w 80gold power supply

Can you explain more on the slow down?
I would say CPU is still pretty good, I will get a better GPU, 680~1050, a 1060 6gb will be a pretty upgrade. With current crazy gpu price, a prebuilt can be considered too. What psu model is it?

The power supply is a Seasonic.
The issues Ive been noticing is frame rate dropping during games. It still runs most things on high fairly smooth but there are times where it can drop to around 30 fps or lower in extreme cases. I have considered getting another 600 series card to try and run SLI to see if that will get me more consistent performance.

don't do SLI... such a weak card and many games can not handle SLI well. Check CPU/GPU usage during game, if CPU is ~100%, then your CPU is limiting, MSI afterburner is a good tool.
