Identical dual cpu cooling vastly different temps?

I've got dual Xeon X5680's (12/24 cores @ 3.6mhz max) in a Supermicro X8DTL-iF.

Each cpu has it's own Lepa AquaChanger 120mm, same fans identical setups but cpu1 is at 30c min and 50c @ 100%.

Where as cpu2 is @ 40c min & 70c max? I've re-done paste multiple times and tried going directly to the molex's to make sure fans water pump were spinning @ 100%.

Out of ideas other than new cooler anyone got anything else than throw $$at it?

As I was typing the thread I asked myself the same thing, and no not yet.

I used to get around 35c/65c (max temp 78.5°C) from both, the really annoying thing is now temps on cpu1 are so good (idling under 30c @ barely
in the 50's @ 100%) it makes cpu2 look bad in comparison.

But in reality I just am looking for that lost -5c I used to get, and tearing apart a setup that is 20c below my goal, trying to find 5c on the other side seems like a really bad idea..
