I have question about RAID 0. I bought a WD1600AAJS-00PSA0 last december, and recently bought another WD1600AAJS-60PSA0 last week. I'm planning to set them in RAID 0, i havent got the time yet. My question is, do you guys think it will work? they are identical in terms of Western Digital model, but different in terms of serial I guess. its just that, i dont get it when RAID0 says it should be identical. Help please!

RAID 0 can actually work with different drives, it's just not optimal. The closer the drives are to identical, the more optimal it is. The items that should match between the drives that have the greatest impact on how well the RAID works are, in order:

- Drive size
- Rotational speed
- Drive manufacturer
- Drive model number
- Firmware revision

Your drives are identical down to the model number, but probably not the firmware revision since you bought them at different times. The resulting RAID 0 should work very well.
