identifying hard drive

How can I find out the manufacturer and model of my hard drive without opening the case and removing it. All system information programs recognise it as generic type 47. I have looked inside the case but cannot find the info. I dont want to have to remove it to find out if there is a program that will do this for me.

Thanks, Tattiebogle

Most computers Bios will tell you the make/model of the drive.

Only the insane prosper.
Only those who prosper can judge what is sane.

Thanks for the quick reply.
My mobo is an asus A7V-E and I have already checked the bios but with no luck. No mention of manufacturer or model there.
Thanks anyway
