My computer ran an update and since then I have not been able to connect to my network. Says identifying... Under View your active networks - you are currently not connected to any networks. Under change advanced sharing settings - showing public profile as current profile. Asus Router which I have rebooted. Orange lights where my network cable is plugged in. All our office computers have internet access via wireless. But my computer (main computer) cannot hard line into the network for everyone to be able to access the shared files on my computer. Please help. Thank you!

If you are talking about a domain network, which it sounds like you are, then your domain firewall was probably enabled by the most recent updates.

Check if your Domain Firewall got enabled.
Control Panel -> Windows Firewall -> Turn Windows Firewall on or off -> Disable Domain Firewall

You will require administrator rights for this. If you have a network administrator, make sure to contact them first before making any changes.
