idk what cpu fits my pc please help me

i want to know what cpu i should get that fits my motherboard and specs etc. here are my specs: GTX 1050, 8 gb ram, i THINK i have a msi motherboard, 64bit,


im looking for a i5 cpu. currenly i have a intel core i3-6100

Whats the model of the motherboard?? There are LOTS of MSI mobos. And which I5? There are lots of them

If you know what the model of the mobo is go to the MSI site it'l tell you what CPU's are compatible

i think its called MSI B250 PRO-VDH. it sais it on the motherboard atleast. And i want the core i5-2300 2.8 ghz or the core i5-6600k 3.5ghz if that works, otherwize any i5 thats pretty good for gaming is alright.

Well the I5-2300 is a sandy bridge / socket 1155 CPU. It's not compatible with the mobo which is socket 1151

The I5-6600K should work tho
