Idle/Usage Temp's With H60 Are They High?

Hey guys, I have the H60 Liquid Cooler (stock thermal paste), but with 2 Corsair High performance SP120mm Fans they spin at 2,350 RPM and have a static airflow of 3.1mm. I am push/pull from the inside of my case exhausting out of the case (probably not the best since I have an A/C unit I could pull in and exhaust out my top 140mm anyway)
my Idle temps are from 80-84 Degrees Fahrenheit, and with a constant 35-40% CPU Usage not over clocked on a AMD Phenom II 955 Black Edition running at 125Watts it is running 91-94 Degrees Fahrenheit(btw thats over a period of 6 hours xconstant useage) . Is that about normal for those usages? BTW My CPU running uhhh 3.2 Ghz? Yeah. Please Help!

P.S.
I have the NZXT Hades Case.

1x 200mm Fan In front pulling cool air in (over HDD First)
1x 200mm Fan on side panel pulling cool air in [not stock fan] (into 6790 IceQx Graphics card cooler & about 35% goes over the top of it towards NB)
1x 140mm Exhausting on top [not stock fan]
2x 120mm High Static Pressure fans on my rad exhausting.

Actually, if your room temp is that cool, your CPU temps are probably right. That's a bit cool for me, though, lol. Below 70 and I'm cold, haha.

Anyway, with those temps, I wouldn't change a thing. It's supposed to be like you have it right now, anyway and I'm not sure that you would get the CPU much (if any) cooler by changing it around.

IF those temps are right (like I believe them to be, now), you should be able to OC the snot out of that CPU. Granted, you haven't said what your stress test (solid 100% load) temps are, but I think you have a good bit of headroom. I mean, your medium load temps are what most people's idle temps are.

84F is a great idle temp, my phenom II idles around 95F

check what you have running in the background, browsers, skype, and other tasks like that will use up a bit of CPU (especially skype, mine has surpassed 1GB ram usage, and 10% cpu for no good reason lol)

Oh, no I was running a programs for 6-12 hours to get 40% CPU usage on purpose. My idle cpu usage never goes over 4%. Thanks for the feedback. I have never seen my CPU get over 100 Degrees Fahrenheit though. Thanks for the feed back, i'm still looking for a little more information on the tempatures things should be though.

LOL, you're worried about temps that are lower than human body temp? You could just barely even tell that was warm to the touch.

Think about it like this: That CPU can handle up to 62C/144F (and honestly more than that because that's just AMD's recommended max).

Also, I'm guessing you live in a very cold house, because those temps are insanely good for a H60. It's not that good. 94F/34C under load (even if it's not 100% load) is straight up top of the line cooling territory (near sub-ambient), and the H60 certainly doesn't come anywhere close to that.

It's also possible that your temp monitoring programs are reporting too low. That happens with AMD CPU's quite frequently.

Mother board temps read the same thing. I can get a heatsink thermometer I guess lol (dont think it works with water cooling). If the motherboard along with speedfan are reporting false temps. the mother board temp reading for the cpu is 76 degrees Fahrenheit at idle pf course because its in bios

For 76F to be right at idle (and it's not truly idle in the BIOS), it would have to be around 64-66F room temp (there should be least a 10F delta between the two with non sub-ambient cooling at idle, and it's usually a 10C delta. I can get close to room temp myself with my 212 Evo, but that's with the side of the case off and the case sitting right next to an A/C vent (tried it one time to see what it would do).

Regardless, you're nowhere near dangerous temps for that CPU (even if the temps are wrong because I'd expect them to more realistically be around 45-50C/113-122F with that kind of load (non-idle) and that's perfectly fine).

My room varies from 62-64 Degrees right now so could that be the difference?

Also with your expert opinion should I swap my push/pull setup around? Have it pulling in the really cool air instead of using the warmer air in the case? my 140mm should exhaust it just fine. I will install my extra 140mm on the other side of the top too if you think that would help (if I use my fans on my rad to intake)

Now! To learn how to overclock !! Thanks for your help.

Another thing that might help I have a window unit A/C in my room (how it keeps so cold) and my computer sits literally 5 Inches from it. So it gets some good old no humidity A/C!

I want to learn to OC my ram too I have GSkill Sniper 8GB 1333mhz 9-9-9-24 timing. 9I'm going to get the GSkill memory cooler the one wiht the two fans that blow on the ram. If you could lead me to some topics that have CPU and RAM Overclocking!

Thanks again!

A guide here in the Overclocking forum for the BE CPU's: http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/274820-29-black-edition-overclock-raising-multiplier-guide

As far as overclocking the RAM goes, I don't actually know of any good guides, and I don't usually recommend overclocking RAM anyway (not much performance gain in it (seriously microscopic, for the stress you're putting on the modules and the IMC), so I generally try to discourage it).

And you're welcome. :)

Thanks! Just for you I ran a 100% Stress test with Prime 95 (the one that says max heat, max power, max consumption that test)
Ran it for over 30 minutes (room temp was around 65-67 Degrees Fahrenheit)

Here is the results: Temps Maxed at 41 Degree Celsius and Averaged at 39 Degrees Celsius. THoughts on OC'ing Now? (btw waiting for an RMA on one of my sticks of ram so I only have 4gb in atm should have 8 by the end of the week a power surge got one of my sticks :l)
