Thanks all for reading my post. I Have a question. I have ie6.0 WEll i was downloading files. With the new ie it prompts you to open save and cancel. Also on the bottom it has a check box for remember..... (dont remember excalty what it says) SO you don't have to click save every time. WEll I accidently click dont' ask and then open. WEll now when i go to that file type it automatically opens the file instead of save. IT downloads to temporary. How do I reset this so i can download the file the right way. Save to harddrive where I want it.

This pertains to the older versions of IE, but I would imagine that it hasn't changed. So read this article; <A HREF="http://support.microsoft.com/directory/article.asp?ID=KB;EN-US;Q140991" target="_new">Q140991</A>. Looks like you'll have to do some registry modifications. Be careful and backup your rigistry first. Good Luck.

Or just uninstall and install again. I think that would work also.
