[SOLVED] If a motherboard has 2 ram slots will it still be dual channel ?

I was wondering, if a motherboard has only two ram slots and I populate both of them will it be dual channel?
(I'm not that educated on PC stuff)

It depends on actual modules, you're using.
They have to be same capacity at least. Best - if they are bought as kit from 2 modules. If you have bought them separately, then there is possibility to have compatibility issues between modules.

Not necessarily always, but generally 2 sockets will be capable of running dual channel with the right modules and cpu.
